When Dinky Circus was merely an idea and a few scribbles in a notepad, the first drop was always intended to be graphic tees and we always wanted to work with Patrick on it....and only Patrick.
From first meeting him, I have always been a fan of his style and handwriting that is uniquely playful, retro and nothing short of fantastic. This in mind, we obviously had to share it with you.
We also caught up with him to get his thought's on Dinky Circus.
Q: Tell us about yourself.
A: I'm an Artist/illustrator from South Wales based in London.
Q: What were your initial thoughts on the Dinky Circus brief and what made you take on the project?
A: Really fun project and always like working on kids clothing as you can do things you sometimes can't on mens or womenswear. Plus the imagery around the classic old circus theme is amazing so there's always loads to create around.
Q: What's your favourite graphic?
A: Think the one with them all piled in the car.
Q: Who is your favourite character from the Dinky Circus gang?
A: The Mouse I think, but I'm terrified of rodents in reality so not sure why.
Q: What's next for you?
A: Got a couple of new Projects coming! And apart of a group show in November up in Newcastle that I'm pretty excited about.
